Mina Hunt grew up on a homestead in rural Indiana. She developed a love of writing from an early age, and began writing and publishing her own stories as soon as she was old enough to type. She's the oldest of six girls and, as a child, was often found directing her sisters in the creation of The Reising Times, a monthly newspaper she produced and distributed to her entire extended family.
Her passion for writing manifested in her work as a freelance journalist during college, and she graduated from Purdue University in 2025 with a degree in agricultural communication. In her free time, she enjoys taking walks with her husband, playing spikeball, working on her novels, traveling, and watching baking shows.
